Over the course of the last year, we have been working diligently to complete numerous renovations throughout Lakeview. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the progress that has been made, as well as provide updates for current and future projects.

Below is a list of improvements completed within the last year in the 1590 building:

• Completion of the new lobby
• Air conditioner cover installations to retain unit heat
• Implementation of a base board heating and monitoring system to ensure efficient delivery of heat to units
• Window repairs
• Installed hallway heaters to elevate ambient temperatures

For the coming year, our pipeline of projects are as follows:

• Combining of the two other remaining lobbies into one new lobby, allowing for greater security and better handicap access (the new entrance will be on the corner of 5th ave and 107th street)
• Updates to the electrical systems
• Installation of new grease traps for each of the buildings that will prevent unwarranted build-ups
• New emergency lighting system in the hallways
• A new administrative office
• A renovated laundry room with new equipment
• New roofs on each of the buildings to eliminate leaks and provide proper insulation
• New air conditioners and sleeves
• Addition of lighting on the exterior of the buildings for better night time visibility
• A new visible security system with active monitoring
• Upgrading of the boilers to ensure efficient hot water delivery services
• New elevators in each of the buildings (will be safer and more reliable than the current)

We appreciate all the patience and cooperation from the tenants of Lakeview while these improvements were, and are, completed. More updates to come!
